Ms. Bhavna Desai is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS) and holds academic qualifications in Law and Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She has also completed her Master's in Commerce and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from Symbiosis Institute, Pune.

She is a seasoned governance and legal professional with over 16 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, including retail, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and sustainable packaging solutions. Over the course of her career, she has been associated with organizations such as Meera Cleanfuels Limited, AVI Products India Limited, Pakka Limited, and the Mafatlal Group, where she has held key positions in legal and governance functions.

Ms. Desai has extensive experience in handling complex and multi-faceted assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, where she has contributed to transaction structuring, due diligence, and regulatory compliance. Her professional work reflects a consistent focus on strengthening governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, and supporting organizational decision-making through structured legal oversight.

As a member of the leadership team in her prior roles, she has worked closely with the Board of Directors, contributing to board processes, policy formulation, and governance practices. Her areas of expertise include corporate governance, development and implementation of corporate policies and codes of conduct, contract management, regulatory oversight, internal investigations, and intellectual property matters, including trademarks.
